Call for Submissions
The ITS Asia-Pacific Forum 2027 invites submissions of full scientific papers, technical papers, and proposals for Special Interest Sessions to contribute to a high quality, peer-reviewed programme addressing the future of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
The 2027 ITS Asia-Pacific Forum will showcase innovation, policy leadership and technical excellence in intelligent transport. The programme will include plenary sessions, executive discussions, technical sessions, special interest streams and demonstrations aligned to the theme “Advancing Intelligent Transport Together.”

Sessions will focus on ITS solutions that demonstrate collaboration, innovation and implementation across 11 topic categories.
- Network Development and Demand Management
- Funding, Financing, and Investment
- Smart Infrastructure and Urban Planning
- System Maintenance, Resilience, and Climate Change Adaptation
- Decarbonisation and Electric Mobility
- Automated and Connected Transport Systems
- Public Transport and Mobility (including advanced ticketing and payment systems)
- Accessibility and Inclusivity in Transport
- Future Mobility, Smart Traffic Management, and Smart Cities
- Improving Safety Outcomes
- Making Transport Construction Safer & More Efficient
Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) use sensing, data analytics, digital communication and smart technologies across all transport modes, infrastructure and users. ITS makes transport networks safer, more efficient, more sustainable and more resilient - improving mobility, wellbeing and overall liveability.
