TWO DAY PRE-CONFERENCE TOUR

Visit two cities, view scenic countryside, and finish with a tour of world-famous Hobbiton. An experience not to be missed. This pre-conference technical tour is a great opportunity to enjoy the sights while learning about local ITS projects. Visit a traffic operations centre, receive presentations by city officials in Tauranga and Hamilton, tour of Hamilton Gardens, tour of Hobbiton.

MONDAY 03 MAY 2027
6.30am Group meets outside Horizon Hotel, Auckland CBD
7.00am Depart Auckland
9.00am  Comfort Stop Cambridge
10.30am Arrive Mt Maunganui (site visits and lunch)
2.00pm  Transfer to Tauranga (site visits)
4.30pm  Depart Tauranga
5.30pm  Arrive Hamilton (stay overnight)

TUESDAY 04 MAY 2027
8.45am Transfer to Hamilton Gardens
9.00am Presentations by Hamilton City Council (tour and lunch)  
1pm Depart Hamilton
2pm Arrive Hobbiton (tour and afternoon tea)
5.00pm Depart Hobbiton
7:30pm Arrive Auckland

COST: Under development - ticket price announced soon. Price will include coach transport, one night in a Hamilton hotel, breakfast on Tuesday, lunch on Monday and Tuesday, tour of Hamilton Gardens, tour of Hobbiton. Excludes meals and snacks.
